The members of the Niagara club celebrated Valentine's Day at the historic Wurlitzer Building in North Tonawanda. This sprawling complex began as the North Tonawanda Barrel Organ Factory. The Wurlitzer Company purchased it in 1908 and put it on the map as a producer of world-class theater organs. One of the owners shared this information with us after our delicious luncheon. We also had a tour of the chocolate company that occupies a section of this complex. We learned about the production of candy and chocolates ending with free samples.
