Autumn Trails Parade
Winnsboro, Texas
October 23, 2021
North Texas Section
Ten cars and seventeen members of our North Texas Section met early in Greenville, Texas for the drive to Winnsboro, Texas for the annual Winnsboro Autumn Trails Parade. The Parade is the ending of a month-long event that was started in 1958 and the key part of the parade is the Dallas Model A Club. Each year dozens of antique Ford Model A’s lead the parade. Our North Texas Section has participated in the parade for several years. Our group is especially popular since the Model A Club and our Section throw candy to the hundreds of kids that line the four mile parade route. It is a fun day and seeing the kids make it especially fun. After the parade the group met for lunch at Richie’s Grill & Café for lunch. While the day started early with fog and sprinkles it ended with sunshine.
